Provisional version: this document is under legal review. It honestly describes how the service works today but is not yet a final contractual version.
This English version is provided for convenience. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
Current status
The marketplace currently lets you browse resources and obtain free ones. Online payment for paid resources is not open yet. These terms will be finalised, in particular regarding the contractual role of CuriaVia and of the creator, before any sale.
Access
Browsing the marketplace requires neither an account nor a subscription. Free open-access resources can be downloaded without an account. A family account lets you add the resources obtained to your CuriaVia library. The Family subscription is never a prerequisite to obtain or buy a resource.
Seller and platform role
Each resource page shows its creator. CuriaVia’s exact role in a sale (seller, intermediary or use of a payment provider acting as merchant of record) will be stated here and on each page before payments open.
Digital resources
Each resource is described by its creator: level, subject, included content, format, languages and previews. CuriaVia reviews every publication before it goes online.
Price
The price is set by the creator and shown VAT included before purchase. The order details are summarised before confirmation.
Licence
Obtaining a resource grants a usage licence for your household. Redistribution, resale and public posting are prohibited unless the creator states otherwise.
Delivery and access
Resources are available for download from the marketplace and, with a family account, from your library.
Withdrawal
For digital content supplied immediately, the right of withdrawal may not apply if you expressly requested immediate performance and waived that right. This consent will be collected separately at purchase. See the dedicated page.
